  • Can give emergency medicines
  • Used for heart attack, severe trauma, stroke

Patient Transport Ambulance

  • Used for planned patient transfer
  • No emergency equipment
  • For routine hospital visits
  • Patient is stable
  • Used for dialysis, discharge transport

Neonatal Ambulance

  • Specially designed for newborn babies
  • Has incubator
  • Equipped with baby ventilator
  • Staffed by neonatal nurse & doctor
  • Used for premature or critical newborns

Mortuary Ambulance

A Mobile Mortuary Ambulance is a specially designed vehicle used to transport dead bodies safely and respectfully from one place to another. It is not meant for patient treatment, but for dignified body preservation and transfer.

  • Used to transport dead bodies
  • No medical equipment
  • Has freezer or insulated box
  • Used for home to hospital / cremation ground
  • Not for patient care

Air Ambulance

  • Uses helicopter or airplane
  • For long-distance or remote areas
  • Equipped with ICU setup
  • Very fast but very expensive
  • Used for organ transplant, serious trauma
